Steps up with additional comfort and convenience features, including an 8-inch touchscreen, an upgraded interior, and standard towing equipment. The SR5 is available in Double Cab and CrewMax configurations and is capable of towing up to 12,000 pounds in the right configuration.
The most popular step-up trim, adding a 14-inch touchscreen, heated and ventilated front seats, a power tailgate, and the option to upgrade to the i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain. The Limited is available exclusively in the CrewMax cab and represents the strongest combination of features and value in the Tundra lineup.

The i-FORCE MAX pairs the 3.4L twin-turbo V6 with an electric motor integrated into the transmission, producing 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. It is available on the Limited, Platinum, and 1794 Edition, and is standard on the TRD Pro and Capstone. It improves both performance and fuel economy compared to the standard V6.
The Double Cab offers a smaller rear seat and is available with longer bed options (up to 8.1 feet), making it better suited for work and cargo use. The CrewMax has significantly more rear legroom (41.6 inches vs. 33.3 inches) and is the only cab style available on the Limited trim and above.
With the standard i-FORCE V6 and rear-wheel drive, the Tundra achieves an EPA-estimated 20 MPG combined. The i-FORCE MAX hybrid improves this to 22 MPG combined with rear-wheel drive—strong numbers for a full-size truck.
